see below for all of our different programs!
This is our most popular program and the heart of our school.
Our students are placed in groups based on their learning style, ability level, and age to explore the terrain that the Summit at Snoqualmie has to offer. We take children from learning how to load on a chairlift to how to shred moguls in powder.
It is very important for us that students experience snow sports in a safe, and positive environment to foster a lifelong love and passion for the mountains.
Saturday & Sunday:
Our snowboard program is a fun way to enjoy the mountain. From beginner snowboarders who have never slid on snow, to skiers looking for a new challenge, our snowboard program offers something for everyone. Snowboard lessons are held during our weekend programs on Friday Evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. Our snowboard classes are build based on age, skill and learning style.
Adult lessons may be possible depending on interest. please reach out to us with questions!
Classes for our Powderpigs parents and friends are available on the weekends and are coordinated with the children’s lesson times. These classes have an instructor with a small group of students who work in a format of small group instruction, hybrid online classes, and individual directed practice. This provides the flexibility necessary to allow students to work on particular skills and move between groups when skills and experience dictate. This assures adult students the opportunity to learn at their own pace.
Meets only Saturday and Sundays during our regular programs. Emphasis will be on improving their own skiing, getting a more detailed knowledge of the technical aspects of skiing and developing basic teaching and observation skills. This is a clinic style class with directed “hands on” practice teaching with our younger students for half the day. Students must be parallel skiers or advanced snowboarders who ski & ride comfortably & confidently everywhere in all conditions
Tween Ski Beginners
We are now offering dedicated classes for students that are new to the sport, but are older then our youngest beginners! As with all of our other programs, our students are placed in groups based on their learning style, ability level, and age however we put a heavier emphasis on age and skill in these programs. We take tweens from learning how to load on a chairlift to how to shred moguls in powder. These classes do have a minimum number of students that are needed to run!
