Powderpigs has developed a Health Protection Plan to ensure that its students, families and employees remain safe as restrictions for outdoor recreation and sports ease during the COVID-19 pandemic. These policies and procedures are based on current information and guidelines from State and Federal agencies and in conjunction with guidelines from the Summit at Snoqualmie. This plan is reviewed on a regular basis and updated as guidelines change. (Last updated: 09/27/22)

2023 Updates

  • Masks are no longer required for lessons, or to use the restroom.
  • It would be prudent to use social distancing in the bathroom hallway, simply because it does get congested.
  • The Powderpigs Building remains closed to Students and Families, aside from student emergencies. We are converting our building to Staff Only. The restroom downstairs remains open.
  • Do not come to lessons if your student(s) or someone in the household is experiencing ANY of the following symptoms: Fever (>100.4F) or chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell; or two or more of the following symptoms: Congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cough (new, changed or worsening), headache, fatigue, or sore throat.
    • Students that come to lessons experiencing these will not be allowed to participate in lessons.
  • Please notify us if your student tests positive for COVID-19. See instructions below.

How to Contact Powderpigs about COVID-19

Please notify us should a student or member of the household have a known or potential exposure.  Should this occur, please email admin@powderpigs.com and provide the following:

  1. details of the exposure or positive test,
  2. date of symptom onset,
  3. date of positive/negative test, etc.

This will help us track things, allow us to advise your family on how to proceed, as well as do any necessary contact tracing or notifications to classmate families.

Please follow the guidelines below when deciding if your student should come to Powderpigs!
